Gina singing the soprano solo in the World Premiere of Chris Artley’s Of Land and Sea with the Auckland Choral Society and the Manukau Symphony Orchestra at Vodafone Events Centre
Chris Artley’s Of Land and Sea is a major new work by this Auckland composer, renowned for his sumptuous choral writing. Scored for Soprano Solo, 4-part Choir and a full Symphony Orchestra, and commissioned by the Manukau Orchestral Society. An inspirational work based on poems by Aucklander Robina Adamson.

King’s College Advent Carols Concert

Gina will be MD and conducting, as well as singing solo.
The performance will end with the traditional singing of the Hallelujah Chorus in which all comers are welcome to give voice !
Gina has had a very successful year with the choirs from King’s College winning Silver at the Big Sing in Dunedin.
Combined Valley Studio, King’s College and Waikato Uni choirs won all the major awards at SAPACS
The Clevedon Valley Music Foundation Trust, established by Gina has gone from strength to strength since its establishment in 2018.
This is a major initiative to promote music and the arts from Franklin.

Sunday 17 May – Music from Near and Afar: Folk and Traditional music from many lands;
Sunday 19 July – “St Andrews Big Band”
Sunday 1 November “Young Talent” (following on from “Two’s Company“)

Gina is a Council Member of NEWZATS, with special responsibility for Membership and Consitution.
In 2020, the NEWZATS conference will be held in Wellington from Wednesday 15 to Friday 17th April.
This will be the 26th Biennial Professional Development Conference.
